Pros: been lied too

Cons: blames customer for faultys

Comments: being as after more than 5 months of a service faults iiNet only thought that 2 months credit is good enough, where a service is faulty with that the ACCC requirement is provide a repair, replacement, refund, compensation or cancellation, depending on the circumstances if the phone or service fails to meet one or more of the consumer guarantees .

As the equipment was replaced fixing the faulty, thus proving that the equipment was faulty and only given only 2 months credit and then close the complaint.
But as you iiNet, causing 5 plus months stuffing a customer round, only worth two months credit, then I am going to be cancelling my service's. For iiNet fail the ACCC requirement is provide a repair, replacement, refund, compensation or cancellation, depending on the circumstances if the phone or service fails to meet one or more of the consumer guarantees as from the ACCC web site.

Which my recorded paper work with iiNet show from the start of the contract we had issue with the number of contacts with iiNet in regards to this servicer and iiNet kept closing the cases blaming the customer.

Pros: Good connectivity

Cons: Speed drops when they no longer value you. (eg: you have 1 month left on the contract).

Comments: ADSL+ 2
Regional (was getting about 1.2mbs DL for a long time)
Month by Month
No drop outs(always had internet connection)
Speed dropped from about 1.2 Megabytes(ps) to 120 kB(ps). Has been like this for 5 days. After I reported the situation to them ,my internet speed dropped even more down to 0.00375 KB(ps)

Pros: None

Cons: Too many to list

Comments: Service is appalling. It appears as if they are playing games with customers - I called up to inquire as to why my internet was intermittent and by the end of the call I had no internet connection at all, a few days later, no phone line. 15 days later, 7 calls over 300mins later, no fix and no plan on how to fix. Every time I call up they say they will lodge a fault and have someone call me. No one calls. When I call back, they say they will lodge a fault and they don't know what happened with the last call and thof y will call me back. This has happened so may times it feels like a joke. The service is nonexistent, they way the call centres say sorry repeatedly but don't actually do anything differently is appalling and is bad human behaviour. iiNet are a deplorable company and I would not want anyone else to go through this experience. It causes a lot of stress and anxiety and is very upsetting. iiNet are thieves - they take money and do not provide the service/product that you pay for. In 2017 it is inconceivable that internet services can not be provided with consistency and that a company that advertises as friendly and helpful is noting but. iiNet are deceptive and stressful to deal with.

Pros: There are absolutely none.

Cons: See detailed comments. Customer service is the worst.

Comments: Have been a TPG customer for some 10 years - this will end now. After spending 2 weeks patiently waiting for my installation date to come up, and the technician having come through, i still have no internet. On the Saturday they advised me someone would come, and if it not come around at least call me by 9am to fix the issue - no call, no technician, nothing. Then having called them on Sunday night, im greeted with nothing but rudeness and insincerity! They then tell me someone will call me back within 24 hours - 48 hours later i have to call again to ask when someone will be around to fix the issue, they then tell me itll be another 2 days and hang up on me. What an absolute joke. Will be canceling my service and making sure everyone is aware of the pathetic and unprofessional service they offer!

Pros: NBN service "up to 25Mbps" delivers average of 23.8bps with no slow periods during the day

Cons: None found

Comments: Note - "Connection Speed" question requires a 0-2 answer because the 23.8 Mbps I get is consistently lower than "up to 25Mbps" I think you need to change the question because I'm very happy with a consistent 23.8Mbps

Pros: Aussie Broadband staff very polite and efficent

Cons: A.B Provisions Team could be more proactive when expediting complkaints

Comments: It took 3 week to activate the system. NBN Co. kept referring me to AB.(my provider).
NBN have many problems and Bill Morrows NBN CEO is unable to resolve the issues. I had to contact the Tele.Comm Ombudsman to resolve my problem. AB should have been more proactive at supporting me.

Cons: Total disaster

Comments: I had never get ADSL service in the time frame they promissed. Keep postphoning connection schedule. Call centre Never call me back when they promised calling me back or I left my number. Waited for a month and gave up finally. Even they disconnected my active land line when I gave up waiting for ADSL so I cannot use other ISP. Spintel wants me to pay to reconnect it eventhough I had active land line before I signed up Spintel. Full of jokes. Waste time and money.

Pros: No positives!!

Cons: Everything!!!!

Comments: 7 weeks later after fibre to home installation and at least 20 phone calls that take approx. 2hrs in total to explain the same thing over and over still no resolution, no call back with updates, no internet speed, my account was debited twice, plenty of empty promises, many emails with speed tests that they require to be able to escalate to "higher" technical support and on and on....
Well, in a few words "BE AWARE, STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS"!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pros: No positives at all

Cons: False promises, wrong billing, Horrible service

Comments: Dodo is the most horrible and pathetic service provider i have ever encountered. When i took my connection they offered me 3 months free and then sent a bill next month. After calling and arguing they waived of my bill and next month sent me a bill 3 times. Also they are responsible for connecting upto dcdb and from there to your house its upto you. That is horrible. How can you even say that? If i am buying a connection this means you have to connect my house with internet but nope. I paid 100$ to a private technician for connection. Everytime when i complaint they just beg me to give another chance. Finally gave up my connection and switched to tpg. They offered me 50-100mbps speed at 60$/month and connected my house with internet. I hate you dodo. I hate u so much. Just because of you i have lost 250$ in 2 months.

Pros: Customer service reps are great

Cons: Internet service is a joke

Comments: I currently have an ADSL connection with Dodo, was told we would get up to 12MBPS, but we were lucky to get 5 these days. I haven't had internet for almost a week, after trying everything possible multiple times, tech rep decided i needed a new modem. Got the new one delivered a few days ago, and my internet is still dropping out. Sent an email requesting manager to email me back to negotiate compensation details. Manager that called me back today was rude as all hell and tried to make their $20 credit seem fantastic. I was told our connection would be bang on and we would be able to play games online, stream, download, do business related stuff and have it happening with multiple devices connected. LIES!

Pros: Good sales team that sounds very friendly

Cons: Thiefs, Liars, Ruthless, waste your time, twist your info

Comments: Beware: the sals team do sound very friendly but they promise what they can not deliver. You will end up with no Internet like me and money missing in your account. Lots of time wasted on the lengthy calls that lead nowhere. After they take your money always in advance and sign you for the longest contract possible. They will make you wait without Internet for 20 days, send all technicians to holidays at once and refuse to refund your money. It took over 2 months of phonecalls to finally break the news to me that they are keeping my money for nothing they did nothing for me apart for stealing and lying. The worst company in Australia. Do not even think about it!

Pros: have not had any issues

Cons: have not really had any

Comments: I wanted to give a review based on the fact that ive had good service and speeds, when i asked for tech support online i was called about 20mins later and operator was very helpful. Remember that people dont hesitate to give bad feedback, so theres always more of it. Experience of service will change from one location to the next, there are many factors that go into providing telco services. Make sure you check availiability of services, distance to exchange etc.

Comments: Aussie Broadband have given me no reason to be unsatisfied yet! Their staff has always been friendly, but i've never tested their technical support (as i've had no problems!) I can download at about 90% of my rated connection, which is much higher than i was anticipating. I realise that is area specific tho. Definately recommend.

Pros: No positives

Cons: The worst company ever.

Comments: Spintel website advertised ADSL + home phone line at $49.95pm, so I put my address into confirm service address & again it listed $49.95pm. When I received confirmation of order it stated $59.95pm. When I rand to query this price, I was told that the $49,95pm plan was not available at my service address even though the website said it was available when I provided my address. I begrudgingly agreed to proceed with connection. Iwas told that because I had disconnected my phone from Telstra I would have to pay a $59.00 fee to reconnect phone line, to which I agreed, but have just received my 1st invoice which states that a $59.00 fee was charged & paid for, but it also charges a new phone line fee of $299.00. I rang to have this corrected, the girl on the phone was nothing short of a rude bitch. She told that she would put in a disputed fee claim & that it would not charged until resolved. We'll see. At this stage I don't believe anything Spintel tells me. It took 21 days to have phone line switched back on after placing order, a task that the website states to take 1-3 days. This was done be the Telstra guy flicking a switch at the exchange, did not come to our address to check the line as stated the $59.00 fee was for. After taking so long to connect the phone, I rang Spintel to ask where my modem was that I ordered for $69.95 + $15.00 delivery? They told me that a modem had not been shipped yet as I had not paid for it. Strange, since it was on the order confirmation they sent me originally & the cost had been authorised by me in the same order with the phone line. After discussions on the phone, a modem was received by courier within 4 days. Followed the instructions to connect it up, would not connect. Rang Spintel technical assistance, after 45 minutes of doing various checks & tests, I'd had enough. Told the technician to put me through to his Supervisor after not ageing to Spintel's voice terms & conditions to log a service call to have the line checked. (The t&c's basically stated tht Spintel could charge me $150.00 for lodging a service call regardless of fault & absolved Spintel of all responsibility). The Supervisor had no customer service skills whatsoever & I'm sure didn't know what he was talking about. Anyhow, service call was organised & while I'm typing this I just got a text stating that the issue has been resolved. Still haven't seen any type of technician though. I don't believe the issue is fixed, I'll have to wait & see but I won't be holding my breath. My advice to all. DO NOT GO ANYWHERE NEAR SPINTEL. THEY ARE AN ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE!
