What real customers say about Aussie Broadband

Customers consistently praise the Australian-based support team, highlighting their attentiveness, knowledge, and quick issue resolution. Many reviewers noted the reliability and consistent speed of their connection, often exceeding advertised rates, even during peak times. The ease of upgrading services and the proactive communication about outages were also frequently mentioned as positive aspects of their experience.

However, several reviewers expressed concern over increasing prices for the same service or noted that the plans are generally more expensive than competitors. While connection reliability was often praised, a few customers reported occasional buffering or instability during peak weekend or evening hours. Few other complaints stand out from the recent reviews.

Good company. Reliable.

Easy. Relaible.

Could be cheaper and more competitive pricing

We are paying too much for internet here. It should be a lot cheaper and there are no incentives for staying with a company for a long time. They are usually quick at responding to tech faults which are rare.

Great customer service but increasing charges

Amazing customer service and tech support when required, great communication when having issues and quick to send out people to fix issues

increasing cost, internet can sometimes buffer in my area

When we have experienced issue of no internet and slow internet speeds, they have been very quick to identify the issue and send out someone to fix it, usually withing a few days. At peak times the internet can have buffering issues, despite increasing the plan and paying more for a faster services.

Aussie service

Great local customer service they make and effort to fix any technical issue, nothing is too complicated.

Price increases are not justified for the same plan.

Aussie broadband helped me sort out a technical issue required to upgrade to the NBN when 5 other companies were not interested. They also had great ongoing technical support once the connection was established,I love their attentive customer service, but the price increases for the same product over recent years leave me worried about value for money.

All Pros, No Cons

An Australian helpdesk, staff that are knowledgeable and helpful

Nil

A good experience talking to a help desk that I could actually understand when they spoke. Whenever I've phoned them with a problem they seem genuinely invested in finding a solution to my problem rather than quickly churning my call over to meet their KPI's. I highly recommend them to all and sundry.

Broadband as it should be. Reliable, Fast and with Australian support to back it up

Rock Solid Reliability, Fast transfer, Australian Helpdek and Support

Could be cheaper

I have used Aussie Broadband for the past 3 years, after migrating away from T.
The NBN performance has been spectacular, usually exceeding the "suggested night time" download rates, but never lower.
The only time I've had to call support was due to a faulty NtU - not even Aussie's issue - but they assisted in getting it replaced quickly.

Very reliable

Fast internet for a good price, rarely increases prices, reliable connection

Big company

All five stars because for the past 3 years using Aussie broadband I have only had to call them 1 time. They were kind and able to help out quickly over the phone. The problem was a cable lucky I had a spare

Reliable Service You get what you pay for

Consistent, high speed internet. Top of the line customer support. Littletono dropouts.

High price compared to competitors. Limited budgetfriendly options.

The connection is consistently fast, with minimal downtime, which is crucial for both my work-from-home needs and streaming entertainment. On the rare occasions when I've needed assistance, their team has been knowledgeable, courteous, and quick to resolve issues

However, it's important to note that this premium service comes at a premium price. The monthly fees are noticeably higher than some other providers in the area. While I believe you get what you pay for in terms of reliability and speed, it may not be the most budget-friendly option for everyone.

Great company with amazing customer support

Excellent customer support, very helpful diy technical support provided on app

Quite costly

In regards to customer support, it is local so it's good to know that you're talking to someone Australian and not outsourced support. The wait time is not that long, and even if it is the support via chat in the app is very quick.

The pricing is quite expensive, possibly due to the fact that the technical support provided is of high quality.
