What real customers say about Superloop

Customers consistently praise Superloop for its reliable network performance, with speeds often matching advertised rates, even during peak hours. Many reviewers highlighted the quick activation process and the general consistency of their internet service. Several customers also found the customer service to be helpful and responsive, making troubleshooting straightforward and efficient.

However, a recurring complaint centres on price increases, with several reviewers noting significant jumps in monthly costs after introductory periods or over time. Some customers also experienced slow response times when contacting customer service or technical support. One reviewer mentioned a lengthy modem lock-in contract, and another reported difficulty in escalating technical issues.

Reliable and built for power users

+ Very fast, good member portal and occasional bonus perks

– Customer Service wait is average

Originally signed up to take advantage of a 6 month discount 2 years ago - after that finished, they gave me a free 6 month upgrade to gigabit, then let me do another 6 month "new user" discount at the higher speed.
Also at the start of the lockdowns they offered a free Static IP (for the life of the account).
I've had maybe 2-3 dropouts a year, most of them in the middle of the night for maintenance.
The only time I had a problem was getting it connected in the first place, there was some issue with my FTTP NBN that they had to reset from their end, took about 45minutes on hold to get through but was then fixed in maybe 10 minutes.
I get solid 850mbit+ and 8-10ms ping at all times of the day, no noticiable slowdowns during peak times.

I'm super happy with them!

Great service no issues

No lock in contract, cheap, quick setup,

fixing issues takes long, slow evening speeds, overseas support

Network performance is consistent; during peak hours, the speeds remain close to what the plan states. Superloop offers great pricing and is an affordable alternative to telcos like Telstra or Optus. However, the rating is kept at a moderate level because once the introductory period ends, the standard ongoing monthly prices increase significantl

Good service

Reliable, Fast, Friendly

Cost increases

Service is decent, and speeds are as advertised. I haven't had much need to contact customer service or technical support but they seem friendly enough. No issues with sign up, was a quick connection.

Good reputation but customer service is lacking

Good connection times when transferring from alternative ISP

Customer service isnt local and will not help escalate issues rather say the problem is your network

I was suffering from high latency, packet loss and drop outs, it took me over a month before Superloop agreed to escalate the issue to a NBN technician. I was told numerous times the issue was my network, through my own troubleshooting I was able to identify that this issue had nothing to do with my router or network set up. Once a tech attended my property they identified the issue within minutes and fixed on the sport with the same appointment.

Superloop would do well to listen to their customers actual concerns rather than handballing the responsibility back onto the customer to fix.

I like the company, but it seems like the catch is the modem they make you hold onto for 36 months. Thats a bit long.

Great internet service, highly recommend

Great service at a great price, high speeds and little downtime

Fairly regular maintenance disruptions, but this often happens overnight so disruption is minimal

My internet was activated within a day, and has been consistent and high speed ever since. There are semi-regular maintenance disruptions, but these are always alerted ahead of time and are usually between midnight and 6am. Bills are direct debited and there are late payment fees, but no lock-in contracts
